Adaptation Strategies for the Elderly in Multi-domain Indoor Environments - Well-being and Building Energy Consumption

Age-Adapt is an EU-funded research project aimed at understanding the adaptation strategies of the elderly in multi-domain indoor environments.

As the world faces challenges such as population aging, energy shortages, and climate change, the study will assess the physiological, behavioral, and psychological adaptations of elderly individuals with different health levels to indoor environmental conditions (thermal, visual, acoustic, and air quality) and evaluate the impact of the adaptive cycle on the balance between well-being and energy savings.

Age-Adapt has received funding from Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 101151542
